So now, we are well into the football world cup. Personally, I'm not a fan and neither is my hubby. However, with all of the coverage on the TV, it has given us plenty of time to catch up on 24 and Game Of Thrones! (every cloud....!) These personalised canvas wall art prints are made using the latest in fine art giclee printing technology. We use pigment inks on Canon Fine-Art professional printers, which results in rich, deep and lasting colours. The canvas used is made of a heavy duty, 260gsm poly-cotton. Poly-cotton ensures no bumps on the surface, which can arise with a 100% cotton canvas.
In addition to this it is sealed with a subtle satin UV lamination. We are one of the few companies which use this special laminate, however it has many benefits : it stops corners cracking ; gives UV protection and additional fade resistance ; prevents the canvas from stretching over time ; prevents the absorption of moisture ; the canvas can actually be gently wiped clean without damaging the integrity of the weave or the ink. If cared for properly, the canvas and inks will last a lifetime!
The canvas prints are stretched by hand over a chunky 45mm deep, ultra-stable MDF frame. This is deeper than many other similar companies offer as standard. We use them because they add strength and sturdiness. They are solid but not too heavy and they are not susceptible to twisting or warping.
The canvas is professionally and precisely secured to the back using strong, professional art tape. There are no visible staples and there will be no loose edges. This gives a truly fantastic, very high quality finish. All of our canvases will arrive ready to hang, with a sturdy hanger attached to the back.
